Head in the Cloud

Manual Cinema created Head in the Cloud for Pop-Up Magazine, a “live magazine” presenting never-heard-before true stories in front of audiences across the country. The piece was created in collaboration with Jenna Wortham (New York Times Magazine staff writer), and combines shadow puppetry, live narration and an original score to tell the story of a man coping with long-term amnesia by “outsourcing” his memories to his smart phone.
